Winter or summer, rain or shine, there’s always something new at the beach. No remorse over the falling of the leaves, no sadness as ice forms on the lake, no flinching as autumn’s chill winds blow all the green away. No, at the beach a change of scenery is only a tide away, as the ocean replenishes the shore with a never-ending parade of new and interesting attractions The beach is the great meeting place where we commune with the sea, the seabirds, the sea air and our thoughts, all the while keeping an eye out for that next great treasure the tide brings in for us.
On the margins of the beach, wind-swept sand dunes form, and on them sea grasses cling, helping hold everything together. These grasses, blowing in the breezes provide an etherial pantomime that never fails to bring a smile.
